Carbio 12 SAS is certified ISO9001 version 2015 by Lloyd's Register LRQA for its quality management system.

This certification prove all our mastery on the manufacture of adsorbents for air and water depollution. Expert on activated carbons based on coconut for the molecular filtration of gas.

Carbio 12 has just patenting a new ¿revolutionary¿ activated carbon which the innovative property is its strong bactericide power (patent N°INPI-06-01200).

Indeed the C1220 IG 100-BC, thanks to a specific surface treatment (it has been covered by a multitude of metallic silver patches; see the opposite picture) possess a strong bactericide power in the presence of halogenure ions.

Tested by many medical and bacteriological independent laboratories, all of them admit an amazing capacity to kill bacterium held in a liquid as soon as they are in contact with Carbio 12 activated carbon. Thus, with ordinary filtration we can clear out bacterium from polluted water and get back a drinking water.

Extraordinary findings¿

Many laboratories took an interest in our innovative product, all of them conclude in a strong bactericide power of IG100 BC on every tested bacterial strain. Last findings of ¿Groupe Santé Recherche¿ (GSR) of Toulouse (chartered clinical center of research) are eloquent.

 

Protocol:
Every filtering refill was inoculated with 106 cells. Filtrate has been putting back in culture and colonies¿ account done 24h after, except salmonella (14 days). Every measure has been realized three times and repetitiveness verified (two successive experiences with one interval day).

Activated carbon catalyst for petrochemical

 

C1220 IG 102.2Carbio 12 is manufacturer of activated carbon catalyst for the oil industry.

In an attempt to respond to current needs of petroleum, we work in the laboratory to improve the catalytic activated carbons for easier use, and discounts on productivity gains.

For that we have tested about 10 to 12 bases of different activated carbons on which we sought to establish a powerful chemical desulfurization agent of petroleum products (MEROX process). Thus we were able to show that only three types of activated carbons allow a stable catalytic impregnation.

Alongside this work also allowed us to develop new activated carbon filtration and pollution-laden air hydrogen sulfide and mercaptans.
For a more specific method of impregnation has transposed the initial appearance catalytic coal for liquids, gases.
